Remembrance at Dusk

Tonight I went to a rosary on San Antonio's South side. The rosary was for the grandmother of a good friend. After the service, I stopped by one of the missions as the sun was setting. It was a lovely moment after hearing about a life well lived.

Here's to Josefine, a Hispanic matriarch. Born an only child in 1921 - she went on to have 10 children of her own. She got to see 29 grandchildren, 21 greats, and 1 great great. She is clearly dearly loved and I was honored to be at her send off.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
