Silver Lining & Sandwiches

Thanks to all who voted on my video. I didn't win, but came in with a strong second. My life will move forward sans iPad and as a co-worker reminded me ... there will be a lighter, cooler iPad in a few minutes anyway. On the plus side I did get over 1700 votes which is not so shabby if I may say so myself.

In other news, I wanted to relay a snippet overheard while out walking in my neighborhood. I was passing a gaggle of tween boys on their skateboards discussing their likes...

Tween 1: I like video games.
Tween 2: I like sandwiches.
Tween 3: Me too.
Tween 2: But I only like sandwiches made by women...
Tween 3: What if you walk into a Thundercloud Sub and there are only guys working? Whaddaya do then?
Tween 2: Oh, I walk out.

Fascinating on so many levels. This kid is in the wrong decade.

Overheard anything fabulous lately?

    sorry you didn't win, but you rocked it on the votes front. i saw the competition and many of them had only a handful of votes compared to your, um, 1700!! you are awesome!
